I have noticed that Comiket tends to cover the most popular anime and manga genres. While there are plenty of obscure properties covered as well a large number of original concepts, the titles that sell the most are parodies of big name "brands". Looking at the Toranoana Top 10 post Sunshine Creation and I have noticed that a number of well known properties are also covered but there seems to be more range in regard to what sells well.
Lets look at this week's fan comics... the IdolM@ster, Super Robot Wars, School Days, and even Yotsuba. Random titles like Little Busters, Super BlackJack Pachinko and MuchiMuchi Pork are also doing quite well. Weird, but what would you expect from doujins.
