Manga Recon Show #001

Hi, I'm Erin from the Ninja Consultant Podcast, which you can also find here on livejournal at ninjaconsultant. I'm cross-posting this here and on the ninjaconsultant website.

These reviews are also posted on my "Manga Recon" column on Buzzscope.com, and I've pretty much read them straight from the column, but I have added the occasional audio note here and there. Buzzscope is loosely associated with Midtown Comics, which is right here in the heart of New York City.

In my column I've reviewed six books in about 20 minutes, which I know isn't usual for the mangacast or the samacast, and if it bothers a lot of people, I could break the 'cast into segments based on individual titles. I'm going to need a little help with the show notes. I'm not sure exactly what publishing information to include here - like, the prices, or the Japanese kanji for each title. Leave a comment with what you'd like and I'll update this post.

I hope to eventually make it so you can just subscribe to just Manga Recon instead of all of the Ninja Consultant Podcast, in case you're only interested in manga reviews. But for now, when you subscribe you'll get the whole thing.
