If you die in the Underworld then where do you go? Do you cease to exist completely?

I'm intrigued. This sounds like something right up my alley, as long as the story has more meat to it than your average video game storyline. But on the flipside the direct employment of a Japanese artist by an American company could have some interesting ramifications in years to come.

Very good point but in a way this is not the first time that has happened. I don't think a relatively small publisher like DrMaster has been able to pull something like this off before.

I'm unfamiliar with any instances where one of the large American companies did something like this. Could you share if you know of any titles?

I just think it will be interesting if companies like Viz or Del Rey, not going the Tokypop OEL route, might try a foray into a relationship like the one DRMaster is.

Well Digital Manga announced that they will be releasing Vampire Hunter D. It will be an original project that is DMPs and is not being released in Japan yet.

And yes there are a couple OEL that were drawn by japanese artists, as well.
